Emily Johansson is an actress who is currently based in Malmö, Sweden. She is trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, USA, and at Katrinebergs acting program in Vessigebro, Sweden.

Her experience ranges from theatre, film, musicals, performance art and childrens theatre. She has worked with all kinds of material; drama, comedy, Shakespeare, improvisation, contemporary and historical.

Emily will be playing the part of Caroline (leading role) in the feature film Sensoria which will be shot this coming fall (2014).

The film "Dust", directed by Lana Tannir, (in which Emily plays the leading role Mia), will be screened at Fresh Takes National Youth Filmfest Presented by Dailymotion in California on nov 22nd-23rd.

Emily will be teaching method acting in Malmö in the spring of 2014 for MAF and Studieoch Vuxenskolan (see their webpage for more info).

The film "Ugly Me" (directed by Hyangil Kim), in which Emily plays the leading role (Susan) will be screened at the NYLA International Film Festival on may 4th in New York.
